BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
The Aplian Book Club was founded by women in Davidson, NC for the purposes of informal fellowship and the exchange of books. Club meetings consist of social events and book discussions.

SCOPE AND CONTENT:
The collection consists of annual program booklets and a copy of the 1974 by-laws. The program booklets (1949-1995) list members, officers, and the topics for each meeting. Some of the booklets also identify specific books read. The Club is still active.
