BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
The Eighteen Book Club is a women's book discussion group in Davidson, NC. Founded in 1946 for the benefit of newcomers to the community. The first officers were Mrs. William J. Storey, president; Mrs. Jim Withers, Jr., vice-president; and Mrs. Leonard Fort, secretary and treasurer. The club is still active as a book club.

SCOPE AND CONTENT:
The collection consists of annual program booklets. The booklets list members, officers, and program topics.
